Appointment Terms

Authorized Person On Site

An adult aged 18 or older must remain on-site for the full duration of the appointment. This person must have the authority to make decisions and be willing to sign necessary job forms. If these conditions are not met, the appointment will be canceled, and applicable cancellation fees will be charged.

Elevator Reservation

Clients are responsible for reserving and scheduling the service elevator (if applicable) for appliance deliveries and tool/material transportation. At no time will we transport appliance(s), tools, and/or materials up and/or down stairs. If we are unable to use the elevator, the appointment will be canceled, and applicable cancellation fees will be charged.

Parking Requirements

Clients must reserve a parking stall at the job address on private property to accommodate a large box truck (height: 12', width: 8', length: 27' 3") for the entire duration of the appointment. If parking is unavailable at the job address, we will attempt to find alternative parking options, provided the delay does not interfere with our schedule for the day. Standby fees will apply (see "Standby and Delay Fees" below). If sufficient time is not available to locate alternative parking, the appointment will be canceled, and applicable cancellation fees will be charged.

Building Management Arrangements

Clients are responsible for making any necessary arrangements with their building or housing management (e.g., noise notices or other requirements). Failure to make these arrangements may result in delays or the appointment being canceled. Applicable cancellation fees will be charged.

Standby and Delay Fees

Standby time or delays caused by others will be charged in 15-minute increments. Rates will vary depending on the service booked and manpower needed. See rates below.


• Repair Appointments : $49.75 - $89.50 per 15 minutes

• Inspection/Delivery/Install/Haul Away Appointments: $65 - $87.75 per 15 minutes

Utility Connections

All utilities must be live and fully connected (e.g., electrical, water lines, drains, gas lines) for testing the appliance(s). If any utilities are not live or fully connected, a return appointment will be required to complete the testing. A minimum service call fee of $199+tax will be charged for the return appointment.

Inspection Readiness

For inspection appointments, if your appliance installation is part of a renovation or new construction, the construction in the surrounding area must be fully completed before the inspection. This includes but is not limited to cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, and flooring. If construction is incomplete at the time of the inspection, we may not be able to perform a full assessment, and an additional inspection appointment may be

required. If your project does not involve renovations or new construction, this

requirement does not apply to you.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice (not including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays) will be charged 50% of the total service value. Cancellations with less than one business hours' notice will be charged 100% of the total service value. All no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the total service value.
  2. If no one is present at the job site, appointments will only be held for 15 minutes after our arrival. After the 15-minute grace period, this will be considered a "No-Show," and the customer will be charged 100% of the total service value.
  3. After our arrival on-site, if the appointment must be partially or completely postponed/rescheduled due to circumstances that Elite Appliance is not responsible for, it will be considered a "Cancellation with less than one business hours' notice," and the customer will be charged 100% of the total service value.

Any additional charges listed above will be billed directly to you by Ferguson. Elite Appliance is not responsible for managing or processing payment for these charges. Ferguson retains sole discretion to determine when additional charges apply and the corresponding amounts.
